OUR GARDEN POST

Our Garden Post is the model which established our business and which we have sold thousands of over the past two years. This post represents incredible quality and value for money.  Like all our products it is made from sturdy UPVC and it also comes with a choice of 3 fixing options and two colours.....

Triangular in section and available in either Black or White this post measures 4" x 2" x 22" high.

In this range there are End Posts, and Intermediate Posts.  Due to the style of post they will work on corners or straight lines.

FIXING OPTIONS

Option '1'  is ground socket mounting.  The socket is installed into the ground, either just in the soil or alternatively surrounded in concrete, and the fence post drops into the socket.  This option is good if you would like to be able to lift the posts out for access or grass cutting.  It is however not advisable if the fence posts would be vulnerable to undesired removal.

Option '2'  is 'Dig In' or direct installation into the ground.  The posts provided are 32 inches long which allows 10 inches for insertion into the ground.  At the bottom of each post there is a pin which protrudes 2 inches from each side, if you opt to place the posts in concrete this pin will prevent the posts from being removed.

Option '3'  is the wooden stake mounting.  Nothing could be easier than this method of installation.  The wooden stake which is treated against rot, is hammered into the ground and the post dropped over the top.  A securing screw and cover are supplied to stop the post being lifted off.

Before ordering you should sketch out your project and establish how many of each you may require.  Post spacing is subjective but 1.25  to 2  metres is a guide.

Fixing Information for Fence Posts
You will require one each of  'left end' and 'right end' for each section of chain you are installing.
The socket fixing method allows posts to be lifted out for grass cutting so avoids strimming round each one individually.
If you choose socket fixing
and the ground is very hard
you may need to use a spade
to dig holes for the sockets.
If the ground is softer you can use the socket tool we supply.
Drive socket tool into the ground  a few inches and then remove  with  a core
of soil.
Push the core of soil from inside the socket.

Repeat this operation until the hole is the required depth for a fence post socket.

Tap the socket into the  hole and knock completely into the ground. Locate the post into the socket.

Now see pictures below for installation of chain.

.
